2023 Expected Donations and Costs

(These costs are in addition to regular registration fees)

(2) Bags of candy
We are asking each family to donate 2 (Costco or Sam's Club) large bags of candy to handout at the Homecoming Parade and our Trunk or Treat Event in September/October.
$50.00 for End of the Year Party
At the end of our season we will organize a large party for all the kids. This event includes a venue, trophies, coaches gifts, food & drinks. It is a night all our kids never forget, and all our families donations make that possible. (TINY MITE flag and cheer party is provided by the DOJGE.)  
Football (ONLY) Practice Jersey
It is the DOJGE policy that all Football players have practice jerseys for practice. These jerseys must have the players name clearly printed on the back and fit over their pads. You can purchase these at equipment handout through the DOJGE Boosters for $35.00. (NOT mandatory for TINY MITES flag)

Black Cleats & Black Socks
All football players should look uniformed when taking the field. The Jr program holds the same tradition as Del Oro High School with black pants, black long socks, & black cleats.  
Cheer (ONLY) Uniforms 
Each Cheerleader will need to have a current DOJGE cheer uniform. Fittings and uniform ordering will be held in May of each year. All uniforms must be paid for in FULL prior to ordering. A fundraiser will be available to help offset the cost for anyone interested. All proceeds raised go directly to the cheerleader to help with cost. (Tiny Mite Cheer uniform is included. Some additional pieces are available for order).
Cheer (ONLY)
White Socks
All cheerleaders will purchase white cheer shoes. It is Del Oro Jr Golden Eagle dress code to also wear white "no show" socks. 
Veterans Day Donation Items
During the season DOJGE will have at a community outreach service project. These may include collecting items for those in need or a clean up day. These will all be local and/or Loomis based charities events.  
DOHS Rock the Stadium 
This is an annual event sponsored by the Del Oro High School.  All Jr Golden Eagles, both football and cheer, will have their name announced and run the helmet at the beginning of the event.  All players & cheerleaders will have free entry. This is a fundraiser and all others will be required to purchase a ticket including Board Members, coaches, team parents, & parent members. 

12 Parent Volunteer Hours

Volunteer hour sign-ups will be made available though a Signup Genius link emailed to all registered families. . 

*Please note, if you need to cancel your shift you are required to email the VP of Operations at VP@jrgoldeneagles.com 48 hours in advance of your scheduled shift to ensure that we are able to get the proper coverage. You may also fill your slot with a family member or other member of the organization. Please make sure the Team Parent or VP of Operations is informed*

HOME GAMES: All volunteers will meet at the assigned location 15 minutes prior to their start time. The VP of Operations and/or Team Parent will check you in during the beginning of your shift.

AWAY GAMES: All volunteers for PAR & Chain Gang will report to the field 15 min before the start of the game. The VP of Operations or Team Parent will check you in at the start of your shift.

Volunteers positions required for each game and throughout the day (each shift is 2 Hours).

  • Chain Gang (away games only) - (3) To mark where a team begins a series and how far they need to go to get a first down.  (Please note that if you are signed up for one of these positions, at NO TIME should you talk to the referees and the players.)
  • PAR (home & away games) - (2) To properly record our PAR plays during a game. This position requires a brief review of the PAR page on our website www.jrgoldeneagles.com .  Volunteers will be provided with the required PAR form for the side that they are working. PAR training is easy and can be requested by contacting the VP of Operations at VP@jrgoldeneagles.com . Please note: once PAR is completed you will need to exit the field immediately.
  • Gate (home)- (2) lower gate, (2) upper gate (home) - Volunteers will be stationed at one of the two gates. You will be responsible to collect entrance fees & stamp paid guests' hands.  Please note: All coaches, assistant coaches, and student coaches are FREE entry. This will be indicated by their organization badges. All cheer and football players in uniform will be FREE.
  • Tiny Mite Game Clock (home) - (2) To run the game clocks for all Tiny Mites Flag football game.

Volunteers position that help fundraise for our organization (home game): (each shift is 2 hours.)

  • Snack bar (home) - (4) - report to Snack Bar Coordinator or Snack Bar Manager.
  • Boosters (home) - (2)  - Report to the Boosters tables.

Volunteers to have a fun game for all members (home game only): These two spots  will count as the full required 12 hours. You must attend all home games to receive credit. We have 4-6 home games each season.

  • Announcer (home) - in the Eagle’s Nest. They will announce the plays on the field with the help of the Spotter. They will have a team roster list with names and numbers. It is important that our Golden Eagle Sponsors are announced frequently during the game using the spreadsheet supplied.
  • Spotter (home) - in the Eagle's Nest. Binoculars will be provided to assist with visibility.  The spotter is to assist the Announcer in identifying player numbers, referee calls, and plays.

Volunteers for season events (Franklin School): (2 Hours per item/shift.)

  • Thursday Night Dinners - Provide team dinner, dessert, drinks & paper products for your entire team and coaching staff.  Set-up can begin 30 min before the end of practice.. Franklin restricts the use of the school's garbage cans, so you must remove dinner garbage from the premises. These events are only held the Thursday before game days. We kindly ask families to only sign up for it 1 dinner a season.  
  • Nacho Night Donation Items - Donate items to the Nacho Night dinner.  This event is for all players, cheerleaders, and coaching staff.
  • Trunk or Treat - Decorate your vehicle and hand out provided candy to all players and cheerleaders after our End of Season Bar-B-Que.
  • Safety Tent - Doctors, nurses, parametric/firefighters, & EMTs (First Aid Certified) will arrive at practice 15 min early. They will set up the safety tent and be available all practice for the entire week. They will be responsible to breakdown the safety tent and return it to the Franklin field shed.  They will receive 2 hours for each day of practice for that week. They can apply for 2 weeks to fulfil their 12 hours. YOU MUST COMPLETE THE WEEK YOU SIGNED UP FOR TO RECIEVE CREDIT.   

FAILURE TO FULFILL your 12 hour requirement will result in the cashing of your $300.00 holding check.
