Important dates

  • March 1st, 2024 - Registration Opens
  • March 17th, 2024 - Cheer Clinic (Yokote Gym at Del Oro High School)
    • Session A - Grades Kinder-3rd - 10:00-12:00
    • Session B - Grades 4th-7th - 12:30-2:30 
    • Parents are welcome to come back at the last 15 minutes for a Showcase of what your athletes learned at the Clinic 
    • Athletes should wear fitted athletic attire (no baggy pants or skinny straps), athletic sneakers, hair in a high ponytail. Pack plenty of water in a no-spill sports water bottle (no stanleys please)
  • March 18th, 2024 - Parent Info Meeting @ Del Oro High School Library - 6:30-8:00
  • April 21st, 2024 - Cheer Assessments
    • Team Placement based on age and assessment. Failure to attend assessment may affect stunt group and routine placements
    • Session A - Ages 6-9 - 10:00-12:00
    • Session B - Ages 10-14 - 12:30-2:30 
    • Team Placements will be emailed after Registration Closes April 30th and prior to Uniform Fittings on May 4th. Team Placements will be final & cuts may be necessary.
  • April 30th, 2024 - Registration CLOSES
  • May 4th, 2024 - Uniform Fittings for all cheerleaders @ Del Oro High School Locker Room
    • 10:00am-10:45am - Tiny Mites
    • 10:45am-11:30am - Jr Pee Wees
    • 11:30am-12:15pm - Pee Wees
    • 12:15pm-1:00pm - Jr Midgets
    • 1:00pm-1:45pm - Midgets
  • Mandatory Practices Begin July 15th
  • Registered Cheerleader Mandatory Clinic Days - Clinic Location are TBD
    • Jr Pee Wee - July 22nd & 23rd - 9:00am-1:00pm 
    • Pee Wee - July 22nd & 23rd - 2:30pm-6:30pm
    • Jr Midgets - July 24th & 25th - 9:00am-1:00pm
    • Midgets - July 24th & 25th - 2:30pm- 6:30pm
    • There will be no “regular season” practices the days of your teams clinics.

    • Medical Clearance Form - Can be found on our downloads page.
    • Birth Certificate - A hard copy is required. 

 

ATTENDANCE POLICY

Cheerleaders will be allowed 4 UNEXCUSED absences July-November. A 5th UNEXCUSED absence will result in removal from the program. Beginning October, Cheerleaders are allowed 1 UNEXCUSED absence. An additional UNEXCUSED absence thereafter will result in removal from the competition routine and will make them ineligible for Nationals.

*Prior to October. Cheerleaders will be allowed 1 absence beginning October. A second absence will result in removal from the competition routine and the inability to continue on to nationals. 
**Cheerleaders continuing on to nationals will be allowed 1 additional absence between 11/12 and Nationals. A second absence occurring in this time period will result in removal.
